I’ve recently undertaken a course called High Performance Academy, taught by Brendon Burchard. The goal of this course is to help me become more efficient and successful in both my daily and professional life by determine what my goals are and how I can achieve them. In this course, Brendon provides the challenge to post a video onto YouTube discussing three principles that help me to achieve more.
Whilst this video isn’t directly related to sewing, you may find some of the things I am learning to be helpful in your own day-to-day life.
My three principles are:
1. Ask the right questions.
2. Improve in one area of my life by 1% every day – An idea from James Altucher.
3. Practise morning and afternoon SAVERS. Savers is an acronym which Hal Elrod details in his book The Morning Miracle.
What are your 3 things that make you more successful?
If the video doesn’t work above, you can watch Yvette’s Three Success Principles directly on YouTube.
This is my first ever video, by the way. I would love some feedback please. I already know that I say “umm” way too much (funny, since I didn’t notice myself saying it whilst recording). We hope to be filming more videos in the future.
