If used correctly, embellishments can make a simple garment appear spectacular.
The cording foot can be used to attach strings (usually embroidery cord) either one at a time or several at once to your fabric. The benefit of attaching more than one cord at a time is that they are sewn perfectly parallel to each other.
This foot has a number of small tunnels running from the front to the back on it’s underside. It’s in these tunnels you will place the cords so that they are guided through the feed dogs and stitched appropriately.
Note that you may need to buy different cording feet based upon the number of cords you plan to sew at once, or even the size of each cord.
